When I planned this blog, I thought about doing another small php site. But I really started to like Markdown. Then I discovered Jekyll - a static site generator heavily using Markdown files. I wanted to try it out but didn’t want to install everything needed for it. Fortunately, there is Docker!

Bootstrap 4 cards and list group borders

Bootstrap 4 brings the new card (formerly known as panel). But what happens if you try to embed a list-group into a card? You will end up with double borders around the list content. You can see a full example and side by side comparison in this bootply.

Welcome to Jekyll!

You’ll find this post in your _posts directory. Go ahead and edit it and re-build the site to see your changes. You can rebuild the site in many different ways, but the most common way is to run jekyll serve, which launches a web server and auto-regenerates your site when a file is updated.
